Since August 2024, holiday rentals in the Comunidad Valencia are no longer permitted to be rented to the same person for longer than 10 days.
Longer periods may only be offered by hotels or hostals. The new regulation on holiday rentals in the Comunidad Valenciana, introduced by Decree Law 9/2024, introduces important changes and restrictions that must be taken into account by owners, especially with regard to the permitted rental period.

The new regulation establishes that a holiday home is considered as such if it is rented to the same tenant for a maximum period of 10 consecutive days. This measure aims to limit the intensive use of flats as tourist accommodation, distinguishing between tourist rentals and seasonal rentals, long-term rentals or habitual residence. As a licensed holiday flat, we are therefore only allowed to rent out for 10 days.
